Voluma

What is Voluma and how does it work?

Voluma is made of natural hyaluronic acid (HA), a major component of our own skin and body. It has a very smooth natural look and feel. It is specially designed to restore and lift the cheek area that has lost it’s shape due to natural aging. Voluma is for contouring and shaping and is a great option for those who need more than correcting a few lines and wrinkles. Voluma is long lasting filler making it a great choice for those who wish to have a fuller, more youthful face without surgery.

What Voluma can it do for me?

As we age our face loses fat and becomes hollow, which leads to sagging skin and a less youthful appearance. Voluma is an excellent, minimally invasive option for restoring volume, shape and contours of a more youthful you.

How long does the procedure take?

Voluma injections typically take 30-45 minutes. Results are immediate.

Is Voluma painful?

Topical anesthesia may be applied before the procedure to minimize discomfort, but this is usually not necessary as the treatment is almost painless. Vouma has a numbing agent to further ensure your comfort throughout the procedure. Ice packs will be given.

How long does Voluma last?

Results may last 24 months or longer, with two-thirds of patients maintaining results at 24 months. Individual results vary depending on the area treated.

Is Voluma safe?

VOLUMA was recently FDA-approved as the first injectable filler specifically formulated to contour and shape the cheeks. Since hyaluronic acid is naturally found in our body, it is safe. You body naturally absorbs over time. VOLUMA is well tolerated and needs no allergy testing. In addition, it is easily and immediately reversible if ever needed.
