Radiesse

Fillers immediately provide the lift needed to diminish signs of aging. What’s unique about Radiesse is that it acts as a scaffold under the skin, providing structure and stimulating the growth of your own natural collagen. Treatment with Radiesse is quick, comfortable and convenient, with immediately visible, long-lasting results.

What is Radiesse and how does it work?

Radiesse is an injectable dermal filler that is fantastic for volumising. It is a smooth microsphere of calcium hydroxylapatite in a gel carrier. Radiesse injections work well to replace lost volume in the face that we loose over time. In just a few minutes Dr Dean Bloch can inject Radiesse to restore volume and natural contour. Radiesse helps lift the skin from deep below to counter the effects of gravity and help us regain a youthful shape.

What can it do for me?

Young healthy skin contains collagen that gives us volume, strength and flexibility. As we age we lose volume. Our collagen, which is like scaffolding in our skin, becomes weak and disorganized. Radiesse will replace lost volume, and stimulate our own natural collagen. Radiesse puts volume back exactly where is was: hollow cheeks, cheekbones, jawline, marionette lines (oral commissures). Results are natural looking and the treatment is comfortable and quick.

How long does the procedure take?

Radiesse injections usually take 30-45 minutes. Results are immediate.

Is Radiesse painful?

Topical anesthesia may be applied before the procedure to minimize discomfort, but this is usually not necessary as the treatment is almost painless. We also mix this filler with a numbing agent to further ensure your comfort throughout the procedure. Ice packs will be given.

How long does Radiesse last?

Radiesse is a long lasting filler. Typically results last 9 months to 1 year. Individual results vary depending on the area treated.

Is Radiesse safe?

Since calcium is a mineral naturally found in our body, it is safe. Your body naturally absorbs it over time. Radiesse is well-tolerated and needs no allergy testing. Radiesse is FDA approved.
