Biostimulators

Biostimulators can help you restore lost volume due to aging or illness. As opposed to fillers, Biostimulators, also called collagen stimulators, are more effective in stimulating collagen production. Poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) and Calcium Hydroxylapatite (CaHA) are the active ingredients of a biocompatible synthetic substance that induces collagen production. Biostimulators can provide you with a more youthful appearance by treating deep creases, lines, and folds. Biostimulators, PLLA and CaHA build collagen. Biostimulators improve laxity, increase thickness, and rehydrate the skin for results that last up to 2 years.

What to expect from Biostimulators PLLA and CaHA:

  • Reduced Appearance of Fine Lines and Wrinkles.

  • Reduces Appearance of Moderate to Deep Facial Folds.

  • Improved Structure and Facial Volume

  • Smooth Skin Texture

  • Enhances Skin Laxity

  • Stimulates Natural Collagen Production

  • Long Lasting Results

  • Natural Looking Results

What is a Biostimulator, PLLA or CaHA, treatment?

A collagen stimulation treatment is used to induce a controlled injury to the dermal-epidermal junction of the skin that produces growth factors, new collagen, and elastin. The procedure takes around 30-40 minutes to complete. Biostimulators, PLLA or CaHA are injected into deeper layers of skin with a fine needle or cannula to stimulate collagen production. Biostimulators are virtually painless and are minimally invasive injection procedures.

Am I a good candidate for Biostimulators ?

Even though every client is different, the best collagen candidates have moderate signs of aging, such as wrinkles, fine lines, and volume loss. People with acne scarring who want to achieve clear skin can also benefit from these treatments.

How many Sessions of Biostimulators, PLLA CaHA do I need?

The results of Biostimulators are gradual, progressive, subtle, and long-lasting. Three sessions are standard for optimal results. Biostimulators, PLLA or CaHA, work by the stimulatory effect; changes are not instant. Results develop over six months and last a minimum of two years.

Do Biostimulators hurt?

Biostimulator injections are tolerable. Patients may experience a slight pinching sensation during treatment. Topical anesthesia is applied before the procedure to reduce discomfort. Bio Stimulators contain an anesthetic agent to ensure further comfort. We offer Nitrous Oxide at no additional cost.

Is there downtime with Biostimulators?

There is not much downtime after Biostimulators. Patients can immediately return home after the procedure. You may resume work and typical daily activities the following day.

How soon will I see results from Biostimulators?

Biostimulators, PLLA or CaHA,  are stimulatory fillers, as it works to build up collagen and elastin on a deeper level. The results are progressive and cannot be noticed immediately after treatment. Your skin should have a new glow after several weeks, and your areas of concern should be noticeably improved.

How long do results from Biostimulators PLLA or CaHA last?

Clients see full results between four and six months after treatment in most cases. As a result, your body has sufficient time to produce collagen and elastin, which can then be sent to your micro-wounds. You will notice that your skin starts to look younger and healthier at this point.  We recommend three sessions spaced 4-6 weeks apart for optimal results. Patients can appreciate the continuous improvement in skin quality in the weeks and months following a final treatment. Results should last 2 years and require yearly maintenance.
